Use The Finder’s Rename Feature
Use the Mac operating system’s built in batch rename feature. Starting with OS X Yosemite (aka OS X 10.10), Apple built a Rename feature into the Finder. Click on the Finder icon on your Dock to open a Finder window. Select a group of files and then click on the File menu and choose Rename X, where X stands for the number of files you’ve selected.
